That’s it for Phillies Phlayoff Phever 2007 (groan). The hometown boys were knocked out by the Colorado Rockies last night after losing 2-1 in Denver. As they say (often) in Chicago when the Cubs lose, “There’s always next year.” *snicker*
Interesting fact: The Rockies have scored twice as many runs as the Phillies in every game in the series (4-2 in Game 1, 10-5 in Game 2, and 2-1 last night).
