No, it’s not the next big RPG from Square-Enix. It’s actually an acronym for National Novel Writing Month. It’s essentially the Boston Marathon of writing contests, where one must write a novella of at least 50,000 words entirely during the month of November. I think I’m going to give it a shot this year. Sure, 50,000 words in 30 days is going to be one heck of a challenge (that’s about 1,666 words per day), but I think I can handle it. I have a good idea what I want to write about, but I’m not going to post anything until it’s completely finished. Wish me luck!
