According to my copy of Brain Age, a good way to get the brain juices flowing is to plan an alternate route to work every day. Today, I gave it a shot, and figured out a way to get home a little bit faster than I do with my normal route. The path I normally take only requires me to make a stopover at 30th St. Station in Philly before heading home to Darby. However, I found an alternate route that uses an additional stop (one at Radnor Station, and another at 69th St. Terminal) before taking me home via the 113 or 108 bus.
Also, the SEPTA guide lies. It told me that after getting off at Radnor station from the R5 train to hop on the 100 train at the other Radnor station, it would take 10 minutes. Pfft! I did it in six.
