I thought I was joking earlier when I said Kagome Higurashi was every fandom’s bicycle, in that she’s been ’shipped with more characters than anyone in fiction. Apparently, that wasn’t an exaggeration…a simple search for “kagome” on Fanfiction.net turns up a whopping 37,457 stories. At least 1,000 of those are for some crossover or series not related to Inuyasha. Seriously, people…Kagome in Family Guy?

I thought something was off when I first took a swing at the Wii Sports Fitness Test (very similar to Brain Age’s daily tests) and found out that my Fitness Age was 68. Either I’d let myself get hilariously out of shape since I started writing fanfiction again, or I jumped right into it having no idea how the games work. Turns out it was the former, as I’d played some of the mini-games before at a friend’s house. It had been so long since I played them that I’d forgotten how to do it properly. In the 3 weeks or so since I got my console, I’ve been able to whittle my average down to a more respectable 33. I don’t think it would make much of a difference if I did some actual working out, but it would certainly make me feel better.
