Yessir and yes ma’am…it’s finally fin-diddly-inished! My pet Mai-HiME fanfiction project, One Wonderful April, just had its 30th and final chapter finished this morning. There won’t be any more updates to it, but I plan to start writing a post-mortem review to let you guys know how exactly I decided to write this silly story of mine (especially considering how Mai/Natsuki fic is impossible to find in this fandom with the way FF.net’s search engines work, though I’m sure it exists somewhere). Since this is both the first major work I’ve completed (and the first of its kind I’ve dared to write, dating back to 2004 when I started writing fanfiction and didn’t have any ideas for writing about two girls), I think this might help me from repeating any mistakes on my next projects…especially when I start writing regular old fiction in the future.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some air guitar lessons I need to brush up on. YEEEHAH!
