It’s always sunny in the suburbs of Philadelphia
So, once again, I decided to get off my duff and take a walk outside, because I had some running around to do. Gas prices are creeping up ever so slowly, and I’ll be damned if I buy a car under these circumstances. I went and got a haircut, and then trekked over to the check cashing store to pick up a train pass so that I’m ready to go back to work next Monday. Then I also thought, “Hmm…while I’m out, why not pick up a Gamecube memory card or two?” The nearest Gamestop was only a mile away, but I really need to learn to talk myself out of doing these things when the temperature is 80 degrees and above.
Now that I’ve returned with my shiny new memory cards, I can play through Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance again. I got stuck during the battle in Chapter 11 right when the Black Knight arrived and one-hit-killed Soren. Guide dang it! This time, I’ll try to prep my characters and position them better so that they don’t leave the spellcasters wide open.
In April-related news, I’ve updated the pages and added navigation to them, so you don’t have to click the “Back” button every time you want to read a new chapter. They also come with spiffy miniature graphic banners with a quote from each chapter (using Photoshop is fun, but why does it have to be so damn expensive?). In addition, I’ve posted the first two chapters at deviantArt, and will try to post a new one every day. Now, to see if I can get this story posted on other outlets…
