Not exactly what it says on the tin
There’s this PlayStation 3 game called Everyday Shooter, but it sure as hell doesn’t look like any shooter I’ve played every day. I’m not entirely sure how to describe it…The easiest and most straightforward comparison I could give is “Robotron: 2084 meets Rez”. There isn’t any framing device for the game. You just go in, shoot stuff, and collect tokens for points. While you’re taking down the enemies with your bullets, the resulting sound effects play along with the background music. The overall effect is rather trippy.
