Well, I guess I can add Revolutionary Girl Utena to the list of series that I’ll probably never complete. Not for want of trying, though…I just picked up on it way too late into the game, and the region 1 DVDs have been out of print for some time (and Central Park Media, the North American distributor of the DVDs, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy not too long ago). I’ve got the first DVD, which contains the first seven episodes, but am having no luck with the second one, which has episodes 8-13 on it. RightStuf and Amazon.com aren’t selling anything except for the movie, and a search on eBay doesn’t turn it up either, skipping ahead to the Black Rose Saga (episodes 14-26). So much for that. I guess now I’ll have to move on to something that can still be obtained for a reasonable price.
