It seems that ti doesn’t take much to be a nerdy gold medalist these days except for a DS, a stylus, and some fast fingers. This morning, I completed the last of the circuit events, and now have a trophy for every last one of them. The final circuit, the Big Bang Circuit, is nothing but Dream Events (Mario- and Sonic-ified versions of other events contained within the game). Predictably, this being the hardest of the hard difficulty setting, the computer cheats like hell in events like Dream Basketball. I still got the last laugh, though, winning the Dream Canoe and Dream Race events by healthy margins, giving me enough points to win the Big Bang Trophy, and the honor of having beaten the game by sitting through a five-minutes-long credits sequence. Gee, thanks, Sega.
