Somewhere between Baron and Mysidia

It’s weird. In the original Final Fantasy IV, traveling through Devil’s Road simply jumped you right from Mysidia to Baron, but in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, you have to go through a mini-dungeon to get between the two continents, complete with damage floors and hidden paths that lead to treasure chests. At least it’s short, and the Hooded Man (whom I suspect to be His Royal Spooniness, but there’s a chance I could be so very wrong) has enough attack power to hold his own against the undead enemies there.
Now, after having re-visited Castle Baron, I’ve got to head off to the Mist Cave. I hope I don’t run into one of those Mist Dragons again…
