After successfully obtaining both versions of Azure Dreams, I’m now looking to pick up some of the games that I couldn’t get my hands on before because I didn’t have any disposable income. Since I once again have a working SNES, I had my eyes set on Earthbound, but the minimum asking price for the game on eBay is $20 with 9 days to go. Since Nintendo of America still refuses to release the game on Virtual Console for some reason, the only way to get it is to track down the cartridge in online auctions. As you can imagine, the bidding for this game has been very competitive or years. One seller’s giving the game (and all of its assorted goods) away for a hefty $350. That’s a bit too much for me…I think I’ll go on to Ehrgeiz, which (until Dissidia comes out this fall) will be the only chance you’ll get to see Cloud Strife in a fighting game.
