Rosa was paralyzed with fear as the man in the black armor lumbered closer to her. A steely hand reached to draw a sword from its sheath, painting the surrounding air with an eerie black glow. She recognized the face behind the helmet, and couldn’t fathom him ever willingly attacking her. They had gone through a lot together since they met in Baron. She had even entertained thoughts of kissing him once or twice. There was no way she could even think of raising her bow and arrows against him, even as he was poised to strike, his sword aglow with negative energy. With just seconds left before that energy was released, she threw up a Protect barrier to soften the impact. A burst of light blinded Rosa as sword met shield. A few seconds later…

Silence.

The armored knight had disappeared, not leaving behind a trace of his presence. Could he have lost his life in the explosion? Was the knight she saw even real? Rosa looked around frantically for answers. She had to figure out what had just happened to her, and most importantly…she had to find him.
