So I picked up Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball in the Xbox bargain bin for $4 yesterday after returning home from jury duty…why the hell not? It was on sale. I discovered that it’s incredibly hard to get the other girls on your side if you lose the first game. Of course, I also made the mistake of betting and losing everything I had on my first day on the island. I don’t know why, but I’m imaging the Kanye West song “Gold Digger” playing in my head right now. Guess I’ll have to start from scratch this evening and see if anything takes.

First, Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que is delicious. Just thought I should let you know.

Second, I’ve prepared my review for Code Geass Episode 2, but still need to put the finishing touches on the draft. It should be ready by Monday before I go to work.

Third, a pair of fics for y’all to chomp on: One Wonderful April, Day 27 (Mai/Natsuki), and By Your Side (Mai/Mikoto). It’s taking me a bit longer for my comfort to write these, but I promise I’ll get them all finished.

Finally, any day where I can purchase a Super NES in good condition and get Yoshi’s Island, TMNT: Turtles in Time, and Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose for $25 is a good day indeed.
