Suffer like Dave did

My sister turned 18 yesterday, and as a treat, the family took her out to the Dave & Buster’s restaurant down by the waterfront. I had been down there before with a few buddies of mine, but last night was the first time I had entered the game room. There’s a much larger variety of games here than there are at most of the arcades on the Boardwalk, though the cabinets at D&B don’t accept quarters. Instead, they have these card readers attached. Every game costs a set amount of points, and you swipe your card through the reader to start playing (you can pick up the cards when you order your meal, it seems).

Sick with it

I’m not entirely sure what happened during my visit to my brother’s apartment over the weekend, but I got thoroughly pasted by one of his gamer friends during a four-player split-screen showoff in Mario Kart Wii. I mean, she beat me, him, and his girlfriend combined.

My seasonal allergies appear to have started back up again after a night on the couch…and I also lost the battery charger to my Nintendo DS (but I’m planning on trading that in this week anyway).

Invisible steering wheel!

No, it’s not a lolcat thing…I actually went out and rented Mario Kart Wii yesterday. It didn’t come with the steering wheel attachment, but I’m just as good a driver without it. It helps that I got some practice in Wario Ware: Smooth Moves beforehand with the “Chauffeur” stance, when the Wii Wheel hadn’t been made up yet.

DS would like to play

Wait…that doesn’t sound right at all. Anyway, when I reset the website, I also deleted the pages that contained all of my Nintendo DS friend codes. So today, I’m going to repost them again, for anyone who wishes to play with/challenge me in any DS games. I usually get only on Saturday and Sunday, so seek me out at any time after 12 P.M. on those days.
