A few hours after hopping out of the car from my family vacation, I went to visit my brother’s house to play games on his Xbox 360. It gave me a chance to finally put my Xbox gamertag to use. Within the span of 36 hours, I was able to score 400 gamer points, while beating my brother’s scores in Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 and beating Triggerheart Exelica with both characters in less than an hour. Not bad for a day-and-a-half’s work, huh? However, thanks to this little visit, I’m still wondering whether or not I should speed up my plan to get an Xbox 360. I initially was going to wait until October to buy it, but now my brother started messing with my head, dropping hints that I should get it instead of this sweet netbook computer I had my eye on. Hmm…

Apart from my misadventures in computer modification, I started re-watching Mai-Otome over the last week or two, and searched the web for fanfiction and fan art for a side project I’m working on for LiveJournal’s “ship_manifesto” community. In my search, I found a thread on AnimeSuki with 100+ pages worth of pictures, including one of a complex relationship chart between most of the cast members. All of them appear to be one-sided, but I’ll just assume that’s because bi-directional arrows are harder to draw than normal ones.

Yes, I still am working on that Sakura/Karin fic I started at the non-hyphenated 30kisses LiveJournal community a while ago, but I’ve since moved on to make it an independent story. Some chapters will still be posted in bits and pieces of about 2,000 words, but this will get done…definitely not this year, but it’ll happen. Anyway, time to pimp out the usual sites for reading Chapter 2, Part 1 of “It’s Never Lonely at the Top”:

It tok me all of two days to get all of my written fanfics translated into blog pages. Something tells me I should have posted them like that to begin with. All of them are organized more neatly under the Fiction section of the site, split under Original Fiction and Fan Fiction, with a summary of the tags being used. This also allows you to search for the fic you want using the “Search” bar, since the software doesn’t pick up on HTML pages that are outside the system.

Oh, man. I was two days away from missing the deadline for my Sakura/Karin claim at the 30kisses Livejournal community (the one without the underscore). I know I’m supposed to post an entry there at least once a month, but I’ve fallen behind on it due to my other projects. I don’t know whether or not anyone’s clamoring for the particular pairing I’ve written for, but I knew I had to post something in order to prevent myself from losing it.
